 Peter M. Butterfield, President and CEO, ATK North America
  • Prior to joining ATK, Peter served as CEO for Kia Motors America. While at Kia Peter grew the company to over 650 dealerships, more than doubled the revenue to over $5 billion, and was able to acheive sales and volume records for four consecutive years
  • Peter also served as the Executive Vice President of Volvo Cars North America, where he led the company to all-time volume and sales records
  • Peter sits on numerous boards, including not-for-profits
  • He received his BA in Psychology from Northern Illinois University and graduated from the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program

 

 

 

 

Mark Spaulding, CFO & Treasurer, ATK North America

  • Mark is responsible for the overall financial and accounting activities of the ATK/Vege group 

 

 

Shannon Empting, Vice President, GM, ATK North America

  • Shannon's 25 year career has encompassed responsibilities in all aspects of ATK's business
  • She is currently responsible for the overall operation of ATK including warranties, post sales support, inside sales, marketing, and quality
  • Over the years, she has helped the company grow the infrastructure as needed--helping ATK transform from a $3 million dollar company to the largest private label Remanufacturer in North America. This transformation included creating policies and procedures and creating and managing KPIs
  • Education includes a Bachelor’s Degree, University of Oklahoma, Masters in Education Program, ISO Internal Auditor Certification

 

  Scott Miller, Vice President, GM, ATK North America
  • Scott's 20 year career with ATK has encompassed all aspects of manufacturing, product development, supply chain logistics and general management
  • He is currently responsible for all areas of operation in the Dallas location which is the company's primary warehouse, distribution, and logistics facility
  • Scott was responsible for developing the core return program, and for creating the Reconditioned Engine Center sales and production division
  • His newest endeavor includes the implementation and management of ATK's new High Performance Division and new engine manufacturing

 

  Steve Gamble, Vice President of Sales, ATK North America
  • Steve has 33 years of Automotive Industry experience, both with Ford Motor company and at Volvo Cars North America where he served as Vice President for the Southeast Region
  • Steve has sat on numerous boards of directors, including Volvo Finance of North America
  • He is a graduate of Penn State University and also has his MBA in Marketing from the University of Pittsburgh
  • Steve is responsible for the US and Canada Sales departments of ATK VEGE

 

  Juan Luis Bernal Blanco, Vice President, Operations, VEGE de Mexico
  • Juan Luis is responsible for Production lines, Engineering, Maintenance, Safety and Environmental departments of the VEGE de Mexico plant
  • During his tenure Juan has improved plant productivity by 20%
  • He has over 15 years of industry experience and has received Mechanical and Industrial Engineering degree from ITSLP and MBA degree from ITESM
  • He is currently an internal auditor for ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 14001

 

  Orjan Kers, Vice President, Logistics & Purchasing, VEGE De Mexico
  • Orjan is responsible for purchasing production material, inventory control, warehouse and production planning, and import and export
  • His prior experience includes production allocation strategy, implementation of vendor rating system and improvement of delivery performance
  • Orjan attended college from 1991-1998, studying industrial engineering and management science
  • He is currently an internal auditor for ISO/TS 16949

 

 

  Mario Jauregui Chapa, Vice President, Quality, VEGE de Mexico
  • Mario is responsible for Quality/Environmental Systems, Process Control & Inspections, and testing at ATK VEGE
  • He designs and follows up Management systems according to ISO/TS quality systems guidelines
  • He has over 15 years of experience in quality control in the Automotive Industry and has been with ATK VEGE since 2001
  • Mario received a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from ITESM and is currently in the process of obtaining his MBA from IDESAA in Monterrey, Mexico
